Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed leads Saudi Sports for All Delegation at MESIF 2025 in London

The Middle East Sports Investment Forum (MESIF) 2025, sponsored by the Saudi Ministry of Investment, with strategic partner Saudi Ministry of Sports, was held on May 27–28 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, bringing together stakeholders, investors, and leaders from across the sports industry.

More than 300 delegates participated, including representatives from sports ministries, sovereign wealth funds, and commercial entities across the MENA region. The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA) was represented by a delegation led by its President, HRH Prince Khaled bin Alwaleed bin Talal Al Saud, and Managing Director, Ms. Shaima Saleh Al-Husseini.

Prince Khaled lauded the Forum’s organizing committee and sponsors for connecting stakeholders from across the GCC and the wider region, providing all sports and sports-adjacent entities the opportunity to confer on a number of topics.

The Federation’s involvement underscored Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive, community-focused sports initiatives as part of its Vision 2030 agenda.

Speaking during a panel discussion, Al-Husseini emphasized the SFA’s commitment to measuring social impact through a data-driven framework. “Our metrics are aligned with the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan and are informed by national surveys, digital platforms, and direct community feedback,” she explained.

Al-Husseini further noted marked improvements in public participation, greater gender equity, and a long-term focus on behavior change, local ownership, and evidence-based infrastructure.

MESIF 2025 featured a range of discussions on topics including sports finance, stadium infrastructure, innovation and technology in sports, fan engagement, and the intersection of tourism and sports development.
